In November 2018, we were hired to brand BeHeardCVA, a survey panel for the Charlottesville Area.
BeHeardCVA allows local residents the opportunity to voice opinions and thoughts. BeHeard participants become an integral part of a movement aimed at creating positive impact in our region.
Hive developed several logo concepts during the branding process. We participated in a panel with the BeHeardCVA team to present and received community feedback on three of the logo concepts. After the panel, we finalized the logo and created the brand style sheet.
The final logo features the outline of Virginia. The speech bubble is positioned in the area of service, and the selected typeface was chosen to feel approachable and inclusive.
Since developing the brand, Hive has developed print collateral and promotional items for the team to use in recruiting efforts.
