Andy Bindea walked into Sarah's former company, Oryx Designs, on a hot summer day in 2011. He had an old coroplast sign in hand and a Jedi braid; he was looking for a quick freshening of that piece of plastic to advertise his new solar company, Sigora Solar. That beat-up sign was the first of many design projects that they worked on together.
Over the next three years, Sigora Solar grew to be one of Oryx Designs' largest clients. The brand was developed and explored, advertisements and brochures were designed, vehicles were purchased and tricked out with eye-catching graphics, and some new signs were made that were worthy of a polished jumpstart business. Oh, and Andy cut off that braid.
In 2015, Sarah developed the marketing for a Community Solar Purchase Program called Solar Trail. Marketing for this project included a fresh logo, signage, print ads, and a campaign of EDDM® Mailings. Through these efforts, Sigora Solar has grown to be the premier source for residential and commercial solar systems – they ranked #376 on the 34th annual Inc. 500 list as one of America’s fastest growing companies and #8 in the Energy Sector.
