In August 2016, we got to add this little gem of a hotel to our list of clients. We are in love with this place. It's called The Townsman Hotel and is a 4-bedroom, boutique hotel tucked away on Charlottesville's Downtown Mall, literally steps away from cafes, dining, shopping and nightlife. Each room is uniquely themed and decorated down to the last detail, giving guests a different experience with each visit.
The Townsman Hotel opened in April 2016. It's now our job to create awareness for it and help get those rooms booked to maximum capacity.
To start, we developed a strategic PR and marketing plan for The Townsman, including PR objectives, strategies, messaging, an audience analysis, and proposed tactics. We've launched a social media campaign, including Facebook and Instagram accounts. We've also developed a brochure, and are planning an Open House event for media, bloggers, tourism reps, local government officials, and event planners in the area.
