Sarah has been working with the Seman Violins team for close to a decade. In late 2017, they decided they were ready for a complete refresh on their site. This website contains over 160 pages; to manage this, Hive created a simple folder structure on the backend so that the team can go in and make additions and changes to their complex inventory quickly and easily; allowing them to get back to what they do best: making and selling some of the finest instruments in the Chicagoland area.
We developed the copy (and pulled from the existing site where applicable); selected photography; created an online store as well as an inventory of over 100 instruments; and added an interactive events calendar with the ability to share and comment on events via social media.
One Creative Cookie tasked Hive with creating a new website for its growing business. The main objectives were to tell the story through visuals and develop a new on-line store to increase sales and streamline the ordering process. This site is a great example of working closely with our clients to make their ideas a reality. She selected a clean, modern layout and re-photographed many of her products to reflect the new look of the site. The copy is a combination of pulling verbiage from the old website and developing new.
"Quick note of thanks for the website...orders have been rolling in and I have saved so much time not having to negotiate emails, develop invoices and reply to inquiries. It has all just been rolling along in the background, and I just focus on filling the orders and shipping them out. Thank you so many times over!" ~ Kelly T.
The Townsman Hotel is a unique concept in the hotel arena. In fact, it's so unique, we've branded it as an un-hotel. The hotel has no onsite staff. Instead, guests are given a private security code for the front door and their personal room, so they can come and go as they please. The Townsman contains just four rooms, each ornately decorated, themed, and named to provide a different experience each time guests visit. It's located right on the downtown mall in Charlottesville, VA, just steps away from dining, shopping, and more.
To help enhance its guests' stays, we created an online concierge website with tips for walkable sips, bites, shopping, and more, We believe it to be the first of its kind and just as unique as The Townsman. Take a peek!
Bloomaker contacted Hive in 2017 for a completely new web design from its original site. Earlier in the year, we'd re-branded the company and were in the process of designing more than 130 labels for its products, so the website was a natural next step in the partnership. We developed the copy (and pulled from the existing site where applicable); added graphical elements, such as the renderings to the left that Sarah drew by hand; updated most of the photography (due to the seasonal nature of the products, there are still several more than need to be photographed); and added fun elements like an interactive map for store locations. The new website was based on the "Innocent" brand from the 12 brand archetypes, and reflects joy and simplicity, two main characteristics of that brand archetype.
Hive Creative Group was hired to design a new website for Hearing Health Associates in 2016. We worked with photographer Susan Kalergis to capture photos of this audiology practice and team. We also updated the practice's logo for a brand refresh.
The new site is professional, visual, mobile-friendly, and easy to navigate.
Hive Creative Group was hired to design a new website for Parrott Orthodontics in 2016. We worked with photographer Susan Kalergis to capture amazing photos of this orthodontics practice and team. We also updated the practice's brand. The website design was selected based on an example Parrott Orthodontics showed us. It's important for us to deliver what our clients want. This template is a good example of parallax scrolling that appeals to many of our clients.
In March 2016, Hive Creative was hired to brand a spirits trail in the northern region of the Shenandoah Valley. The trail includes Virginia wineries, breweries, distilleries, and cideries.
The spirits trail concept was part of a collaborative effort of Winchester-Frederick County, Shenandoah County, Harrisonburg City, and Rockingham County to help drive tourism to these areas. Hive Creative developed the name, logo, tagline, hashtag, marketing collateral, and website for the Shenandoah Spirits Trail. You can read details about our work on this project on our blog: "A Case Study: Tourism Marketing."
For the initial launch of the trail, the clients wanted a simple scrolling page that was optimized for SEO and mobile visitors. Since its launch in September 2016, the trail has grown with the addition of three new counties and several more establishments. Hive was hired again in June 2017 for a build out of the site, which is still under construction. Click below to see the initial framework.
For more than 40 years, National Group Protection has offered insurance programs for the worksite environment. Hive worked with NGP in 2017 to give their site a brand new look with updated content and team photography.
