Born to two artists, I can’t remember a time without art and creativity. I consider my self one of those super lucky people able to do what I love as a means to support me and my family. I try to be thankful every day for that privilege and share whatever I can with the rest of the world.

I have been exploring graphic design for over 30 years. Hive is my second business endeavor; I sold my first, Oryx Designs (a Waynesboro, VA sign shop), in 2014 after nine years of management.

Sunday mornings have been spent the same way for close to ten years: running with my dear friend Jenny. I also love to mix mocktails, paint, quilt, and knit!

super-hero skill:

At times, I’ve got a visual, photographic memory. I can usually pick out paint swatches at Lowes and match them to colors at home with uncanny skill.

fatal flaw:

I am directionally challenged. I’ll remember if I’ve seen it before (see super-hero skill); I just won’t be able to get there! Want to really trip me up? Tell me to “just head North.”
