Hive’s 2022 Year in Review
We are so thankful for all the amazing businesses and groups we had the pleasure of working with in 2022. Today’s blog is a quick look at a few of the projects we’ve completed over the last year.
We created over 10 new websites! One website project we completed was for Potter’s Craft Cider. The Hive has a few cider lovers, and we were thrilled with how this project turned out. We took a site that was previously cumbersome to browse and streamlined the navigation to make shopping for ciders, joining their cider club, or planning a trip to the tasting room easier for visitors. We also incorporated new photography and video, and used an updated style guide in the design.
Shreckhise Nurseries is a wholesale nursery serving independent garden centers and landscape contractors. They have a large selection of container trees and shrubs. The Hive team created a new Squarespace website to help the nursery attract new customers and showcase a product catalog for their wholesale customers. The site is user-friendly, mobile-friendly, easy-to-update on the back end, and designed to maximize SEO. It also includes a map of searchable locations by zip code to find one of their retailers near you.
The Hive team worked with Student Services Moving and Storage Company to rebrand their business to Charlottesville Moving Solutions. Our designers started by creating a logo and a brand style guide, incorporating elements that were a nod to the company’s former branding, and as of 2023, 50 years of service in the Charlottesville area. We incorporated their updated look into a new website and social media platforms.
Fun fact: An amazing team of movers from CMS helped us move into our new office space this year!
Roadless Races came to us in 2022 for social media marketing to help them bring wildly fun, super friendly, and challenging trail races to the Triangle area of North Carolina.
The Blue Ridge Safety Association (BRSA) is dedicated to offering valuable benefits and resources to its members while serving as the Shenandoah Valley's premier safety organization. Our designer, Adrian was inspired by the colors often found in the Blue Ridge region and the bright yellow that's often found in the safety industry. BRSA serves a variety of industries, so she incorporated multiple icons in the logo to reach a broader audience. Adrian incorporated this branding into a new website that features membership information and benefits as well as safety resources.
We were thrilled to partner with Appeal Production, a video production company that aims to give your business the appeal it deserves. We partnered closely this year to develop a strategic plan, refresh their brand, manage their social media, and run ad campaigns.
In 2022, we continued work with Sojourner Glamping as they sought out land in Greene County, Virginia for their glamping retreat. Hive's efforts included media relations and social media marketing.
The Hive team had another great year with Foxfield Races as Mary Beth and Adrian attended both fall and spring races. They were the on-site team working with local media and capturing social media content.
