Six Programs We Use Every Day as Marketers

Here at Hive Creative Group, our team uses a variety of different software on a day-to-day basis.

These programs help us stay organized, communicate, get creative, and track results.

#1: Asana

Our most-used program is Asana, our project management platform. Asana helps us keep track of all of our client projects, and it’s where we go to see our daily tasks. Within each Asana task, we can communicate with our teammates, add project details, upload attachments, and more.

#2: Eclincher

Eclincher is our social media scheduling platform. It allows us to draft posts in advance and schedule them to be shared on all of our client social media channels. Once we've created a month's worth of social content, we send our clients a link to review, edit, and approve the posts.

#3: Canva

We use Canva to design most of our social media content. We love Canva's brand kit feature because it lets us upload our client's logos, fonts, brand colors, graphics, icons, and photos. All of this branded info is easily accessible when we're designing social posts for a client.

#4: Adobe Creative Cloud

We use Adobe Creative Cloud for graphic design projects, both print and digital. The Adobe programs we use most are Illustrator and InDesign. Illustrator is our go-to for branding projects. We use it to design logos and create illustrations, icons, and brand guides. InDesign is useful for projects that have a lot of text that needs typesetting, like brochures, print ads, posters, etc.

#5: Squarespace

Squarespace is the platform we use to design client websites. We absolutely love Squarespace because the design interface is user-friendly and intuitive for both our team and our clients. Squarespace launched its new design system, Fluid Engine, in 2022. This drag-and-drop technology makes it easy to customize web page designs so we can create unique sites based on each client’s need.

#6: DashThis

DashThis is the marketing reporting tool that helps us create monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to share with our clients. These reports allow clients to see our analysis of website activity, social media campaign performance, email marketing results, and Google Ads data.
